Sociology Curriculum
Vision
Our vision for the Sociology curriculum is to empower pupils to open their eyes to the world and explore challenging ideas in a safe environment, encouraging within them excellent academic progress and personal growth.
We will achieve this by developing and providing a curriculum that is both rigorous and relevant to a variety of social settings and issues, as we prepare our pupils for their future careers and lives as engaged citizens.
We will create critical thinkers among our pupils: the ability to analyse and evaluate their own views and those of others in the light of evidence is an essential skill.
