Psychology Curriculum
Vision
The vision for Psychology is to demonstrate a commitment to providing a vigorous and challenging A-level curriculum. This will encompass a range of topics which can be seen in everyday life and ensure that pupils have an understanding of human behaviour and how that works in today’s society.
Pupils will learn to appreciate how psychological knowledge and ideas change over time and how these inform our understanding of behaviour. They will benefit from the development of knowledge, skills and attributes to become active and considerate citizens, by developing the qualities of care, compassion and empathy for others and challenging stigma and discrimination surrounding mental health issues and neuro-diversity.
