Computer Science Curriculum

Vision

Pupils will become digitally literate, technologically aware, proficient Computer Scientists. The faculty envisage that pupils aspire to perform and achieve at their maximum potential. Inspiration, motivation, care and determination will be shared and encouraged along the exciting learning journey of Computer Science.

Pupil will learn to understand and apply the fundamental principles and concepts of computer science, including abstraction, decomposition, logic, algorithms, systems and data representation. Pupils will also analyse problems in computational terms and have repeated practical experience of writing computer programs in order to solve such problems.They will think creatively, innovatively, analytically, logically and critically and develop their capacity to see relationships between different aspects of computer science. Pupils will apply and develop their mathematical skills and become responsible, competent, confident and creative users of information and communication technology.
