St Paul’s Way 2020 Cohort GCSE Exam Success!

St Pauls’ Way Trust School is incredibly proud of the achievements of the 2020 GCSE cohort of students, who are celebrating today after achieving another set of excellent results despite the unprecedented challenges of the last few months.

A substantial number of all students were once again awarded the top grades, with student progress continuing to be above national averages.  We are also very pleased with the noticeable gains in progress measures made with this year’s results.

Amongst the many success stories from today, top performers include Ridh Shahdatullah (nine grade 9s), Tahsin Islam (seven grade 9s, two grade 8s)and Abresham Azad (six grade 9s, one grade 8 and one grade 7).

A few individual success stories of students who have overcome personal challenges to achieve and secure a strong set of results include Saihan Islam with a grade 7 in Maths, and Hamza Ahmed (who joined us as a mid-phase student) with a grade 9 in Maths and grade 8s for English Language and Literature.

Amani Rahman and Adil Rafee brilliantly embodied all the SPWT Graduate skill areas, demonstrating high levels of resilience and patience, and have achieved passes in all of their subjects with particular highlights in Maths and Performing Arts.

Our Year 10 cohort have also sat their early GCSE RE exams, securing another set of excellent results.

“We are immensely proud of the achievements of all our Year 11 students. It is the hard work of students, our Year 11 Team and all staff who have worked with our students, along with the support of parents that have made this possible.  Well done to all of our students collecting their results today! We wish all our students success for the future, and look forward to welcoming many of our students back to our St Pauls Way Trust Sixth Form.”
